# Quick Start

SweIoT Toolbox 1.1+

**Setup** 

1. Log in to your account. 
2. Connect to a Device: Press "Nearby Devices" to scan for devices or “QR Connect” to scan the QR code located on the device’s label. 
3. In the list, you can choose to filter: 

* Filter on signal strength: Adjust the signal strength (dBm) to limit the search range. 
* Search directly: Enter parts of the device's MAC address shown on the device's label (e.g., B1 or b:1 - at least 2 characters). Click on the device you want to connect to.

**Configuration - When Connected to a Device**&#x20;

1. From Device View (Main screen after connecting with a graph), scroll down until you see the main heading "Device Settings"&#x20;
2. Select "System" At the top under "Selected Application", choose the application/method for the device and other system settings. Then click "Save".&#x20;
3. After selecting system settings, click "Config" to configure settings specific to the device's method you have chosen such as "Measurement Cycles" and other settings. Then click "Save".

**OTA - Update Firmware Version**&#x20;

1. Click on the menu&#x20;
2. Select "Update Firmware Version"&#x20;
3. Choose the desired firmware version to start the installation. Once the installation is complete, the device will disconnect. Reconnect to use the new firmware.
